Chief Executive Officer
Originally from a small town in Mexico, I grew up with a family of entrepreneurs. In 2002 at the age of 30 with only a 9th-grade education from Oliver Wendell Holmes High School, I purchased my first office building where I was the only Hispanic man in the room.
At the time, I felt out of place and carried this feeling of “not being enough” for years to come. However, through the years I’ve learned that if you’re an entrepreneur, no matter how small you feel, whenever you’re in a meeting, remember that it’s because of you. Everyone is there because of you.
Don’t sell yourself short and always remember that success doesn’t come from avoiding the hard things in life but facing them and going through them. Success is almost always preceded by a series of hardships and failures. In fact, I believe it’s the best fuel if used right.
Every day, I work on building my legacy. I try to lead a life where my actions are coupled with fairness and kindness as I help people in my community. I am grateful for my success and I would like to share some of the lessons I picked over the years to help the next generation be successful as well.
